Wedding photography in Dubai
Dubai gives you more usable backdrops in one city than most couples get in a whole country — beach at golden hour, dunes twenty minutes out of town, Downtown glass at blue hour, and hotel interiors that photograph beautifully when the weather does not cooperate. I know which of them works at which time of day, and that is most of the job.
I photograph full wedding days, intimate ceremonies and elopements, and after-wedding sessions for couples who married at home and want the pictures here.
How I work
Mostly I stay out of the way. The photographs people keep are almost never the arranged ones — they are the half-second before the arranged one, or the thing that happened while everybody was looking elsewhere. So I direct only where it genuinely helps: light, position, the occasional straightened line. The rest I follow.
Before the day we plan a route. In Dubai this matters more than it does elsewhere, because the difference between a comfortable shoot and an exhausting one is whether the driving was thought through. We fix the running order around the light — and around the heat, which for most of the year decides what is possible and when.
What is included
- A personal driver who collects you from your hotel and brings you back afterwards.
- Water on every shoot. In Dubai this is not a small thing.
- A choice of long-train dresses in several colours, free to use during the session.
- Selected, retouched images at full resolution, plus versions sized for social media.
Timing
The best light is the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset, and in Dubai that is not a preference but a practical limit — midday sun is harsh on faces and hard on anyone wearing a wedding dress. From November to March you have far more freedom; in summer we start very early or shoot indoors.
If you are travelling to Dubai to marry, message me before you fix the date. Half an hour of planning at that stage tends to be worth more than anything I can do on the day itself.
Pricing
Wedding coverage is quoted per booking — the variables are the number of hours, how many locations, and whether you want the full day or just the ceremony and portraits.
Tell me your date and roughly what you have in mind, and I will send an exact price and confirm I am free. You can book a date here; a $50 deposit holds it. There is wedding work in the portfolio, and if you want the desert specifically, see desert photoshoots.
